With Davante Adams being the biggest name to headline the injury-riddled core, reporters are still concerned about the impact he'll have in the game.

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn had an awkward encounter at his Wednesday presser when a reporter asked him about how he plans to stop Adams.

"Hey coach, Davante Adams is one of those playmaking wide receivers, four touchdowns on the year. What are some things in the secondary that you know that you have to lock in on a receiver of his caliber?" the reporter asked.

Despite Adams being out, Quinn didn't call out the reporter for her inaccurate question, but instead started talking about how difficult the Rams' passing is to stop.

"It's detailed; it's aggressive, of how they utilize guys," Quinn said. "What they do differently than most [teams] is the different packages of players. Sometimes it's three tight ends, and only one receiver. Other times it's three receivers."

Adams has been out since Oct. 18 after he exited their 18-16 loss to the Cardinals with a non-contact injury.

Since then, it's been revealed that Adams suffered a ruptured hamstring injury and will be out for 6-10 weeks , which points towards a potential return in the middle of December.

Despite Adams not being available for the near future, the Rams are averaging 258.9 yards per game and are being led by Puka Nacua, who is averaging 94.2 yards per game, while having three touchdowns through six games this season.

The Rams and Commanders are set to kick off at 10:00 a.m. PT.
