The Fever amassed a franchise-best 28 regular-season wins to secure the No. 6 seed heading into the postseason. However, the Las Vegas Aces eliminated Indiana 2-1 in their first-round series.

The Golden State Valkyries won the title this season. Golden State won its first championship in just its second season, defeating the Atlanta Dream 68-63 at Chase Center in Saturday's decisive Game 7.

This was the first Game 7 in WNBA Finals history. Millions of fans tuned in to watch the Valkyries win the title, setting a new viewership record. With an average of 3.3 million viewers, it became the most-watched WNBA playoff game ever.

That audience narrowly trailed the viewership record the Fever set earlier in the season.

On Aug. 23, 2026, the Fever visited the Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena. Clark led the way with 37 points and a career-high eight 3-pointers. The Fever blew out the Sky, 113-90, officially eliminating Chicago from playoff contention.

An average of 3.31 million viewers across NBC and Peacock tuned in to watch that game. Despite Game 7's historic numbers, the Fever-Sky matchup still holds the record for the most-watched WNBA game of the millennium.

Clark and the Fever's win against the Sky remains the most-watched game in WNBA history since the league's opening weekend. It ranks third all-time behind the New York Liberty-Los Angeles Sparks game (5.04 million) and the Charlotte Sting-Phoenix Mercury game (3.59 million). Both games were played during the WNBA's opening weekend in 1997, with the Liberty-Sparks matchup marking the first-ever WNBA game.

Clark and the Fever face a pivotal offseason. Clark and Aliyah Boston remain under contract, but Kelsey Mitchell and Sophie Cunningham, among others, are set to enter free agency.

The Fever also parted ways with team president Kelly Krauskopf and general manager Amber Cox amid a major front office revamp.
